Various Branding 2009—Logo, Business Cards and Visual Identity Design
Throughout 2009 I was asked to help 2 small businesses with their branding.
First, Kreativ.pl's new client—a recognised wine merchant opening his own wine bar serving only personally selected choice of beverages—requested a new logo and a simple set of business cards to go with it. I was asked to use either wine glass or wine bottle motif to create the logo which I did. Being a wine lover myself I spent some extra time to extend the polished final design and add even more details to it for larger format print if ever required.
Few months later a West Sussex based electric contactors company got in touch in need of a business identity for them so they could brand their documents and equipment. The project involved creating car stickers, business cards, envelopes, invoices and a web page. They were very strict about the way the logo or logotype should look and they didn't want me to even think about the usual lightning bolt or power socket image. We ran through few different ideas and as a result we came up with shielded Omega symbol representing electric resistance. The choice of vivid, contrasted colours helps noticing the logo from the distance especially on a big white surface of a car.
